These Choceur Milk Chocolate bars are described on the package as “smooth milk chocolate made with hazelnut paste.” They are a product of Austria. The cocoa is UTZ-certified, with a note on the wrapper stating it is “supporting socially responsible and environmentally friendly cocoa farming.”
These chocolate bars taste great, and my family prefers them over traditional name-brand Hershey’s bars. The addition of hazelnut paste seems to be the secret ingredient. These bars don’t really taste nutty. They have a smooth texture and rich, nuanced chocolate flavor.
The individual squares break off easily for the most part, too, making these ideal for sharing or for portioning out for s’mores.
